Learning Labs

Between every swipe, click, and alert, beyond paths of passive scrolling and mindful posting, there is a garden of learning. We’ll meet you there.

Our Learning Lab Experiences are thoughtfully curated to help you harvest the most potent insights from modern and non-traditional forms of organizing and adapt them into the structures you need to unlock your tomorrow.

  • Intentional learning and growth is one of the core capacities of any adaptive organization. Our curated Learning Lab Experiences aim to foster an environment where teams and individuals can actively cultivate their futures. We believe that, amidst the clamor of daily distractions, there exists a rich field of potential waiting to be harvested. By equipping organizations with tools and insights that prioritize continuous learning, we empower them to navigate beyond passive consumption, embracing a more meaningful, collaborative, and purposeful journey towards progress.

  • Our Learning Labs are not just about disseminating information; they're about catalyzing transformation. We believe in a holistic approach to learning that intertwines intellectual comprehension with experiential understanding.

    – Foundation on Core Concepts: Every Lab starts with a foundation built on well-researched concepts, contemporary trends, and insightful case studies. These are the building blocks that inform our methodology and approach.

    – Collaborative Exploration: Our labs are interactive gatherings emphasizing group dynamics and collaborative exploration. We believe that collective insights lead to richer understandings and more innovative outcomes.

    – Tailored and Contextual Content: We recognize the uniqueness of every team and organization. Hence, while our content is pre-built, there's ample room for customization, ensuring it resonates with your specific challenges and goals.

    – Application in Real-World Contexts: Knowledge without application is like a ship without a sea. We ensure that every concept introduced is paired with practical strategies, tools, and exercises, allowing teams to experiment and see tangible results.

    – Continuous Reflection & Integration: Post-lab, we encourage teams to reflect on their experiences, integrate their insights, and apply their learnings in real-world contexts. This process ensures that knowledge doesn't just remain theoretical but becomes an intrinsic part of your organizational culture.

  • We've crafted our Learning Labs to cater to a diverse range of participants, ensuring that teams from various backgrounds, industries, and sizes can benefit.

Here's a broad overview of eligibility:

    – Team Composition: Whether you're a budding startup, a dynamic mid-size enterprise, or a sprawling multinational, our labs are structured to provide value to teams of varying sizes and compositions (ideally no more than 15 people per workshop, larger will require additional design adaptations).

    – Prior Knowledge: Enrolling in our Learning Labs requires no prior knowledge. We only ask for curiosity and a willingness to learn.

    – Tech & Platform Familiarity: While our Labs are conducted virtually, you don't need to be a tech wizard to participate. Basic familiarity with platforms like Zoom will suffice. We also provide guidance and resources to ensure a smooth digital experience.

    – Language Proficiency: All sessions are conducted in English. Hence, a functional understanding of the language is desirable. However, our facilitators are trained to communicate complex concepts and engagingly.

    – Commitment: The magic of our Learning Labs emerges from active participation. While we ensure the content is engaging, a commitment from participants to engage, reflect, and implement is crucial.

    – Availability: Given the interactive nature of our labs, participants are encouraged to be present for the entire duration of the session. This ensures continuity and maximizes the learning experience.

  • Dive deep into the Learning Labs experience, and you'll emerge on the other side with far more than just acquired knowledge. Here's a glimpse of the tangible and intangible gains you can anticipate:

    – Better Team Chemistry/Vibes: More than anything the Learning Labs are a space for teams to do something together that improves their connection with one another. Let these experiences be a reason for you all to do something “productive”, while also increasing the trust, understanding, and closeness that your team needs to navigate the unknown together.

    – Enriched Understanding: Explore multifaceted concepts in a structured environment, ensuring a comprehensive grasp transcending traditional learning methods.

    – Practical Application: Our approach isn't just about theory; it's about actionable insights. Participants will be equipped with tools and strategies to integrate into their daily operations immediately.

    – Adaptive Thinking: In our ever-changing world, flexibility is paramount. Our labs foster an agile mindset, preparing teams to pivot and adapt easily and efficiently.

    – Continued Growth: Post-lab resources and exercises ensure learning doesn't end when the session does. Teams will have the necessary materials to sustain and build on their newfound knowledge.

    – Cultivated Creativity: Through diverse methodologies and perspectives, teams will be encouraged to think outside the box, leading to innovative solutions and fresh ideas.

    – Empowered Decision-Making: By understanding the intricacies of various subjects, participants can make more informed, strategic decisions in their respective roles.

    – Holistic Perspectives: Rooted in a blend of indigenous wisdom and modern methodologies, our labs offer a balanced perspective that respects both tradition and innovation.

    – Bridging Gaps: Address specific challenges, misconceptions, or knowledge gaps within your team, ensuring everyone is on the same page and moving in unison.

    – Long-term ROI: The skills and insights gained in our Learning Labs ripple outwards, creating a cascade of benefits that enhance productivity, morale, and overall organizational success.

  • Optional interviews with team members or stakeholders to further customize the Lab Experience. Includes interview guide design, scheduling, interviewing, and synthesis.

  • Is there a specific type of expertise, lived experience, or educational background you’d like to be part of this experience? We have an extensive network of friends who are amazing at what they do, with niche and specialized experiences—from the halls of academia and corporate boardrooms, to the front lines of social movements, and on the ground as founders. We love having an excuse to bring them in to do work we love together. Additional rates will depend on who we invite to our party.

  • While high-impact experiences happen virtually all the time, there are benefits to gathering in person. If any of the below are true for you and your team, we’d recommend considering an in-person experience:

You are forming a new team—shared trust building/repairing, social cohesion, and belonging to a shared culture is a priority-

Unexpected cross-pollination of ideas and knowledge is needed (informal interaction)

Social networks need to be strengthened

Team morale is low and needs lifting

Tensions are high and need diffusing

It's been a while since you've seen each other

Access to location specific product/equipment is required to get the job done
